Sniffing, stretching, fresh air and exercise -- all the joys of a good midday outing! Dogs On The Geaux! LLC offers convenient, dependable midday dog walking services to meet the daytime needs of your pet while allowing you to attend to your busy weekday schedule. We offer multiple options from simple backyard potty breaks to longer neighborhood walks. Whether you are seeking short-term or long-term service, we will be happy to assist you with a plan that best suits your pet's midday needs.

Our midday dog walks are always leashed, neighborhood walks.

If you have more than two dogs in your household, please note that we will only walk two dogs at one time. Additional dogs can be walked at the same visit but must be walked separately.

GENERAL INFORMATION, FEES & POLICIES
Pet Care Consult: Before first-time service is established, we require an in-home pet care consultation with potential new clients and their pet(s). The consultation is free-of-charge and allows us the opportunity to get acquainted with you and your pet(s). Forms will also be filled out and policies reviewed.
Service Hours: Midday dog walking services are offered Monday through Friday between 11:00AM – 4:00PM.
Service Timeframes: We ask for a two-hour flexible window to complete each walk. This helps with our daily scheduling where both time and location are factors when accommodating all of our clients.
Medication Administration Fee: Due to the level of responsibility involved, we may charge a $1 per day fee for medicating pets as this is not part of our standard midday dog walking service. The medication fee is determined on a case by case basis.
Same Day Service Fee: Requests made within 24 hours of service will incur an additional $5 per visit/walk. Due to our schedule we may not always be able to accommodate last minute service requests.
Holiday Fee: We charge $3 more per walk on the following days:

Key Policies & Fees: Dogs On The Geaux! LLC requires two keys to be kept on file during our service. One key serves as a backup. If you are not able to provide a second key, we can make one for an additional cost of $5. A pick up/drop off fee for keys not kept on file will be $8 per round trip.
Leashed Walks & Multiple Dogs Policy:
Dogs must be leashed on our walks. In addition, if you have more than two dogs in your household, please note that we only walk two dogs at one time. Additional dogs can be walked at the same visit but must be walked separately.
Cancellation Policy For Ongoing Weekly Service:
Midday dog walking cancellations must be made by 9AM day of service to receive a credit or refund for the unused walk. Cancellations made after 9AM will not be credited or refunded.
Cancellation Policy (Non-Ongoing Weekly Service):
Cancellations made within 48 hours of your service beginning are subject to a fee that equals any walks scheduled on your first day of service. Cancellations made prior to 48 hours will not incur a fee. Once service begins any daily cancellations must be made by 9AM to receive a refund for the unused walk.
Payment Policy: Dogs On The Geaux! LLC accepts cash and checks only. Payment for midday dog walking requests is due on the first day of scheduled service and can be left for pickup at the first walk. For weekly, ongoing service, payment is due at the beginning of each scheduled week.
